So I just wanted to take a minute to wish my Big Brother a Happy Birthday! Brad, I don't take the time to let you know how much you mean to me but I LOVE you a ton! It was always so nice to have a big brother watching out for me. I remember when I was probably 6 you taking me to the park when one of the big kids started pushing me around so you stuck up for me...however I think you ended up with a ripped shirt and bloody nose. But, I knew my big brother would always protect me! I also remember walking home from school one day asking you about Christmas & Santa Claus...you explained to me better than Mom & Dad could have about the TRUE meaning of Christmas. When I started to cry because my fantasy had been broken, you put your arm around me and comforted me!!! You were only a boy yourself but the compassion and love you showed me was beyond your years. The year Daddy was in the hospital for Christmas you were the one that helped Mom make sure we had a tree and decorated so Christmas would be good for all of us. You continued to tell us to keep praying and have faith because you just KNEW he would be home before Christmas and we had to have everything ready for him. You were right, he came home Christmas Eve!!!! You were always such a great example to me. (well most of the time...hehe!) You continued that role of protector even in High School...by putting a few of the guys I dated in their place when they tried to cross a line. I want you to know I loved having a big brother, except when you gave Lynette and I knuckle sandwiches!!!!! Those we could have lived without. When Daddy died you continued to take good care of all of us. It's a good thing that you have such broad shoulders because they were leaned on often! Today I hope that you have a FANTASTIC DAY because you deserve it! Laugh for sure because your laugh is contagious and everyone will laugh with you making this day perfect for the whole world. I LOVE you big brother!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a tough couple of months for you with all the rehabilitation; but I just wanted to tell you how thankful I am that you are here to do it!!! That was really a close call and I want you to know how grateful I am to still have you here with us. If the car had hit you guys slightly different we might have been looking at a completely different senario...one that NONE of us would have liked! I know it stinks to have a broken wrist, and two broken feet/legs, however the alternative is unacceptable!!!!!! I want you to know how much I admire your strength and fortitude! So like I said earlier in my posts on Friday October 9th our family was blessed with the fact that Brock & Chantell were married in the Salt Lake Temple; then had their sweet angel Brightyn sealed to them! It was such an amazing day!!!!!! A lot of it was so spiritual and personal it is hard for me to talk about, however I will give a highlighted version. First, I just wanted to thank all of the family members that were able to come- you have NO idea how much it meant to the kids and US. The day was perfect, nice weather and best of all Brightyn was SO VERY VERY GOOD! That morning it seems that all of us said a prayer that she wouldn't cry during the sealing...and she was such an angel!!!! To see the three of them all together just took my breath away. Little Brightyn locked her eyes on her Daddy and never made a peep. She let Brandon hold her and actually took and sucked on a binki. As most of you know she DOES NOT LIKE BINKI'S. However, she has loved one since! As soon as I get a picture of her in her little white dress I will post it.
Brock and Chantell...I just want you to know how happy we are for you. You both have worked so hard to be able to go through the temple and have kept encouraging each other along the way. Continue to be each others corner stone and love each other more everyday!!!!!!!!! We love you!

We had the greatest weekend celebrating Brock & Chantell being sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday. It was such an incredible experience for my family! Our only regret was that Brittany & Josh were unable to attend...she was due any day. (actually had baby Sunday) So we all went to the temple then headed straight to Idaho for Grandma's Birthday BASH! Saturday was so fun. Grandma had no idea of the surprises up our sleeves. Linda, Rhonda & Mom did such an amazing job! The reception center they had the party at was fabulous, and the food was delicious...believe me, I think I ate a little of EVERYTHING!! Yum Yum!!! We had a great surprise for Grandma, Brock & Steve had been planning THIS for months along with Mom's help (thanks). We picked Grandma up then drove her to the airport where Brock flew her to her party in STYLE---the Helicopter!! She was so cute and happy. She had no idea and I think she got a BIG kick out of it. The great grandkids and great great grandkids loved it almost as much as she did! We were able to land the helicopter right in the parking lot so everyone just came out and greeted her, then we all headed inside to really party...and we DID!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA WEBB! We LOVE YOU so much!!!!

Brandon, Thank you so much for the plane ride...as you saw it was a little emotional for me! I felt so close to Daddy. You reminded me of him so much up there flying! I thought I would hate the day that both my boys were pilots, but instead it just gives me comfort and feels me with SUCH JOY!! I see in you guys and Chad the same love for flying that he had. I know that you all have a co-pilot up there with you because I know Daddy wouldn't miss a chance to go flying... especially with his grandsons!!!

Our sweet little Brightyn is growing so fast and we just can't get enough of her! It absolutely MELTS my heart when she coo's at you. She will really carry a conversation on with you when she gets on a roll. It is just the cutest thing. She has started making pouty faces that a so funny, and she is way to strong...she can stand by herself already!! You need to stop growing so fast we want you to stay a little baby longer. Six Flags

So we choose one of the worst days to go to Six Flags! There were so MANY people over Labor day weekend and it was so HOT! While the big kids hit the wild fun rides, we took the little ones and the pregnant mommy to the kids section. They were so good for as hot as it was and the long wait in lines. I couldn't believe that they wouldn't let Brittany on ANY rides...I'm talking the kiddie rides even. Brit was a trooper because all she was able to do was walk around with us, wait in lines and watch....so boring! It was like 105, the sweat was dripping off of all of us! Bentley's hair was drenched the whole time. Thank goodness Chantell's aunt took Brightyn because she would have been completely miserable. I thought that JJ and Benders were SOOO GOOD! It was really fun for Grandma and Grandpa to spoil them for a little while.

So we arrived Friday and Brittany had to work and Josh had Board review so Heather and I took the kids swimming while Steve and Chad went to hit some golf balls while waiting for the rest of the gang to arrive. So we were at the pool one day and there was a party. Of course Junior is such a cutie that they JUST had to give him a cupcake too! What a mess...there was frosting EVERY WHERE!!!! All over ME...Him...the pool. He even pooped blue frosting the next day. I must say he did enjoy himself eating it almost as much as we enjoyed watching him eat it!

We went CAMPING for the first time in years! I have to say it was really roughing it...we had TV and Air conditioning(THANK HEAVEN!!!) Bentley was such a great little camper. Slept good and liked the great outdoors. Other than the dirt though, she was a princess when it came to that! Thanks kids we had a blast!

So we were just getting ready to leave for a weekend get away when Bentley had a little...BIG accident. We had been on the road less than 5 minutes when we thought Benders just passed gas. She was seating between Heather & I. When she passed gas it actually raised her up. Heather & I just laughed...then the aroma started. We were all saying WOW Benders that was a potent one! Heather glanced down at the car seat and started to gag! Then I did the same!!! Look VERY closely at the car seat!!! YUP...that is POOP all over the seat! MAJOR BLOW-OUT!! What a way to start the weekend!

Steve and I felt so blessed to get to have all our children home for the 24th. So we had so much fun that day...parade,carnival,shopping,BBQing and then the Rodeo! It was so much fun to spend all that great time with my children. I don't remember the last time I actually got to watch the parade instead of having someone in it and helping out. It was such fun to watch Josh and Bentley take it all in. They both just wanted to join the parade. We had to keep grabbing them because they just loved running after all the floats and people. They didn't quite get the understanding of the candy...but they sure loved eating it!!!!!!

Wow, we had so much fun!! I am so glad that Kristin and Mark were able to join our family at 7 peaks. We had so much fun that day. Wish the rest of you could have been there. It was a perfect day...little hot but we had a cabana so it wasn't bad at all! We had so much fun with the little ones too! They LOVED the wave pool and lazy river, but there favorite was the kiddie pool. Grandma spent a lot of time there! The guys had a blast challenging each other to all the different slides. Seeing who got the most air, or could go farther! Can't wait to do it again next year when Brightyn will like it too!!

We had so much fun with the kids while they were here! Daddy took the afternoon off to come and have a play day with the kids. Bentley and Joshy were so much fun at Thanksgiving Pointe. Our Amazing Helicopter Ride!

So we had the opportunity of a lifetime while in Rockport. Brock got to take us up in one of his helicopters. They seat 9 people and are really amazing to see up close; but even more fabulous to actually ride in. I got spoiled because Steve let me ride up front with Brock! That was so much fun that I can't even put into words what I felt, but I know that somewhere along the line my Dad has been giving Brock flying lessons! It was deja vu...I was watching my Dad when he was younger! Brock you make me so proud, not just because I see my Dad so much in you but because of your skill and confidence. You are a truly FANTASTIC pilot!!!! I wasn't nervous at all. I am so proud of you and I love you so much. I just wish everyone could see you in uniform and have a chance to fly with you in YOUR CHOPPER!

I wish I was really able to articulate my feelings...bottom line...Daddy, I MISS YOU!!!! Today has been 22 years since you were taken away from us...I CAN'T believe it! Somedays I miss you so much it hurts. I still find myself even now thinking I have to call Dad and tell him the great news: graduations, weddings, grand-babies, and especially when BOTH Brandon and Brock became pilots. I wish so much that my children could had gotten the opportunity to have to know you. I use to be angry at God for taking you away from us so early in our lives! You were always my Hero did you know that Daddy?!!! Not only was I Daddy's Little Girl, but so were Lynette and Bridgett. I feel very strongly that you brought LaVar into our family, he has been a wonderful father to us and an AMAZING grandpa! All the grandkids love him SO MUCH! However, I still feel cheated that they never really got to know YOU!! You would have loved them all so much and probably SPOILED them all rotten...but we would have forgiven YOU! I know that you are playing with your little Brightyn right now preparing her for her life here on earth. I have NO doubts that you are watching over all of us because you always seem to know when I REALLY need you or just need a special pick me up. When I really need you or am feeling extremely low somehow you just know and are there..thats when you send me my special gift. I find a penny from HIM in the craziest places!!!!! I call them my Pennies from Heaven. I don't know how you do it but PLEASE don't ever stop!!!! They give me that extra little boost I need to see me through. I see so much of you in all my children. Their sense of humor, love for life, compassion, love of flying!, I could go on and on. Even little Josh and Bentley occasionally have your crooked smile and my heart melts because it looks like YOU! Dad I just wanted you to know what an impact you had on my life. I hope that you are proud of me and what I have done with my life. I see your great- grandchildren and know how proud you would have been of them and their parents. Dad, I love you...You are in my heart at all times. Some of "The best shrimp" you'll ever have! Yes this van is just off the side of the road and we were told by SEVERAL people we would LOVE the shrimp. It was TRUE!! The menu is in the window...5 different choices of how you want your shrimp. Each meal came with 12 jumbo shrimp, that we all devoured!!! Just look at the plate of shells in front of us all.

So the day we went to the PCC it started out just overcast, and quickly turned from a drizzle to a downpour!! But that did not dampen our FUN! Check out Steve...he got called up because of his Birthday, and then Lora and Scott got called up for Honeymooner's. Steve and Scott were the hit of the show...way to go baby!!!

We are at the Dole Plantation having one of their FAMOUS Pineapple Ice cream cones! The guys loved them so much they went back twice in one day but missed out by 4 minutes! While I was in Texas the kids celebrated Joshy's Birthday ... he is ONE!!! Brittany and I got this wild hair to make his birthday cake. I think for two amateurs we did an awesome job! I think we were pretty creative, we used fruit roll-ups for the mouth and eyebrows, starbursts for the cheeks, sugar cone with M&M's, along with TONS AND TONS of FROSTING!!! This is what we ended up with. This great clown cake that Josh seemed to love, until the ice cream came out! It was so funny getting him to dig into the cake because he kept looking at us like he was sure he was going to get into trouble. We were all laughing at his expressions. He is such a doll and I miss him terribly!!!

So Grandpa and I couldn't wait for the little ones to open up these presents. When we saw the big CAT Truck we just had to get it for Jr. Grandpa said he would LOVE it and as you see he DOES!! It makes engine sounds, horn honking(which he really loved) and gravel dumping sounds. Then of course we couldn't leave little Bentley out so we found this cute train for her. At the time we had no idea how much it really does...plays all kinds of songs,lights up, has gadgets to push. Okay you can only imagine our surprise when little Josh showed up on our doorstep unexpectedly!!! The kids came to town to say goodbye to Josh's brother Jeremy and his wife Sarah who are leaving for Singapore Tuesday for atleast 3-5 years. We had NO IDEA. We didn't get to spend much time with them due to they were here for his family (Jeremy and Sarah); but we are so Thankful for the little time we were able to see them. Oh my goodness...JOSH is just precious!!!!!!!!!!

So we went to a Native American Pow Wow, they had all these beautiful costumes and dancers-I took about 20 pics and they ALL look like this. Oh well WE had fun!!

All the fall colors were beautiful but there wasn't alot of red...mainly yellows and orange.

We stopped back in Dallas on our way home. Grandma and grandpa got to babysit for the day, so we took Joshy to Cabela's and he was fascinated by the fish!!!! It was SO FUNNY!!!!! We had a blast with him. Thanks for letting spoil him for the day.

YES...CORPUS CHRISTI FINALLY!!!!

Can you tell we are EXHAUSTED after moving all day? However we found a wonderful apartment for Brock and Chantell. It's a brand new complex so no one has lived in there place before! It is huge. Two bedroom and two bath, with large familyroom and dining room area. They also have a pool and work area. So for all of you that want to take a fun trip both Brittany and Josh along with Brock and Chantell have room for VISITORS!!! They would love to hear from all of you!

So by now most of you have heard we are expecting another grand-baby!!!! It was so cute how Chantell told Brock. She found out she was pregnant the morning we were leaving for Corpus Christi. Brock flew in that afternoon so when Chan went to pick up Brock she had this cute Doll in the baby carrier instead of Bentley but Brock thought it was our cutie pie...what a surprise when he opened up the blanket. Apparently Brock walked through the airport just talking to the carrier like it was Bentley until they got to the car. When he went to put her in the car is when he found out!!! YEAH!!!!

I look great for 30 don't I!! I just wanted all of you to know how great you all made me feel yesterday. Friends and family make all the difference in the world. Mark and Mary thanks for letting us use the motorcycle...I love riding on it. Rog and Chris I can't believe you guys called from California, you are amazing friends!!
To my brother and sisters and MOM--you have NO IDEA what your calls mean to me! I really miss you all so much and to get to talk to you is so good! It is hard to be away from all of you so every little tidbit is SOOO good. I hope you realize how much you guys mean to me and that I love you TONS!!!
To my incredible children you made my day fabulous!!!!!! Because of you if I never accomplish anything else in my life I HAVE made an impact. Some where I did something right because you are all amazing! Brock, Brittany, Josh and lil Josh I missed having you here but your calls were the next best thing. Life really just gets better and better especially now that I am a grandma. It is so incredible. I have two of the most beautiful grandbabies ever!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, okay...I am an awful blogger!! However, I love to see every ones!!! I am trying harder, but I can honestly say that every time I get a chance someone messes me up. For instance I can't get on the computer, we are in St. George, Steve has my camera so I can't download Any pictures!!!!!!!!!, just to name a few. Okay,

Brit and Josh have also been married 3 years. They are now in Dallas for 2 more years until Josh graduates from Chiropractic School. It has been keeping him hopping, but he loves it. Brittany is keeping busy working for a Surgical Center as a Circulating Nurse and being a mom. Luckily, she gets 7 more weeks off to be with little Joshy. We just had our first grandchild March 3rd. I am so excited to be a grandma!!!

Brock was our last to get married. He married his true love on July 28th, and we are so thankful that he found Chantell. The wedding was amazing!!! They had it at Grandma and Grandpa Wilson's in the back yard. The boys and extended family did an incredible job and the yard looked like something out of a magazine...you know grandma and her green thumb!!! Brock works at Utah Helicopter as a flight instructor and loves every minute. He reminds me so much of my Dad when I see him flying or getting ready to fly. Chantell works as a dental assistant, which you can tell because she has one of the most beautiful smiles I have ever seen.

Brandon is working full-time and going to school still. It keeps him very busy. Heidi still works at Cottontree Family Clinic and still loves it. Brandon's work has required him and Steve to spend a lot of time in St. George. I really don't know where Steve would be with out him. Not only his physical help hands on with all the improvements they have had to put in on Sierra Bella but his quick mind. I know he has saved Steve a lot of Money with all his great insights in the business. He is a real natural, and we are lucky to have him as Steve's right hand man!!!!!!

Heather and Chad

For those of you that don't know...Heather and Chad are expecting a little Girl on July 1st.(If she makes it that long). Chad is now working full-time for Utah Helicopters as of course a Helicopter Instructor. He loves his job as much as Brock does. Can you believe two helicopter pilots in one family? Poor Heather has had a rough time with this pregnancy. She just found out she has Gestational Diabetes! Hopefully that is part of the problem as to why she has been so sick. Atleast she will get a beautiful baby girl out of all this though!!!
